- Download the Ubuntu iso file. I would prefer you to download Ubuntu from ubuntu’s website because of ease and reliable and also there would the latest version.
- Open Vmware on your PC and follow the following steps correctly to Install Ubuntu on Vmware.
To Install Ubuntu on Vmware, First, you must create a new virtual machine for it. To create a new Virtual machine open Vmware and click on Create a New Virtual Machine.
Select any of them to start your virtual machine set up. As I select the Custom, Then click Next.
Select the highest one for better servicing and click Next.
Select an option for your Operating system file (Ubuntu). The first one would be asked from your PC’s CD-Room, the Second one would ask the image file (must be iso file) of Ubuntu now, And the third one would ask letter while installing. Select any of them and click Next.
Set up your profile( username and password) and click Next.
Set a Name for Your Virtual machine name and location for it and click Next.
Setting the processors for your Ubunutu, You can set it according to your PC’s CPU and click Next.
Managing the RAM for Your Ubuntu, Here also, You can set it according to your PC’s RAM and click Next.
Setting the Network for your Operating system, I would prefer you to select the second one (NAT) and click Next.
Input/Output Controller, Select this as it recommends you and click Next.
This one also selects as recommended. and click Next.
Select the new one and click Next.
It would recommend you 20GB of Storage the Minimum is 8 to 10 GB and the maximum is would be according to your need and PC’s hardware( Storage). And click Next.
Specify the Disk file and Click Next.
